OUR MISSION
The MIT Jameel Clinic takes a distinctly MIT approach by bringing research into practice. We pioneer translational research in clinical AI and AI-driven drug discovery that can be applied across a broad spectrum of real-world scenarios in health, regardless of geography, socioeconomic status, and access to care. Our efforts are singularly devoted to addressing the unmet needs of patients with urgency, precision, and transparency.
About UsFounded in 2018 as a joint initiative between Community Jameel and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the Abdul Latif Jameel Clinic for Machine Learning in Health (Jameel Clinic) aims to shine a light on the transformative impact on AI in health through supporting cutting-edge research in clinical AI and drug discovery. In reimagining how AI can impact health, we believe that the development of trustworthy and ethical AI models must be at the forefront of all AI research.
